8th and 9th Red-footed Falcon for the Azores
Today on my way back from town I checked out the south coast road for Swallow,s and Martins as I had found yesterday some flocks with my guests on a Eastern tour. When I arived on Mosteiros a Starling was folowed by something brown and first flash i my small brains was a Common Kestrel. When it settled on a wire far out I saw a dark bird and some contrasted head so I took some distaned record shots and opened my collins. As I never seen one before was quite sure but not 100% when a tractor flushed the bird and it flight north. How big was my happines when I refound it sitting next to another one. A double lifer shoot me to 188 species on the Azores list
